Yangtze River Mysteriously Turns Red
Residents of the Chinese city of Chongqing were surprised to find that the famous Yangtze river had turned a shade of red yesterday, September 7, 2012. The cause of Asia’s longest river turning red is still under investigation by officials, but that did not stop many locals carrying out their normal water-based activities.
